MACROMIND'S MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTSSAN FRANCISCO, California--January 8, 1990--MacroMind®, Inc. announced today a new distribution agreement that strengthens its position as the leading supplier of multimedia solutions for the Macintosh personal computer.All MacroMind products, including the MacroMind Director® product family, will be distributed by Macamerica, Microamerica's Macintosh Division, to computer dealers and other resellers. "During the past six months, MacroMind has trained over 1,000 resellers about MacroMind Director and multimedia technologies," said John Scull, MacroMind's President and CEO. "With this increased interest in MacroMind Director and our continuing desire to make our products available to a wide range of Macintosh resellers, we felt that a working relationship with Macamerica would allow us to reach customers that have been inaccessible in the past. We are very impressed by Macamerica's management and their focus in the Macintosh marketplace."
